A couple of weeks ago it was fine. Out of nowhere it started to swith between connected and no connexion status.
Since i bought the rog crosshair viii hero it has 2 ethernet ports. However, the 2 one that i'chiliad using doesn't work well on multiplayer games. It works for everything else tho.
I can't test the cable since its inside the facking wall and to put some other one would be a pain in the ass.
Anyway. Idk what it could be. Hope you guys tin can help me.

That port was working fine two weeks ago. And so maybe something in the bios went wrong ? Or needs updating ?
It could exist your internet provider...it could be the line quality coming into your habitation...it could exist the router. At that place are a lot of things it could be before it fifty-fifty gets to your reckoner. Fifty-fifty if you accept some other computer (laptop for example) you could connect the cable to and test it would exist helpful.

If you can connect to the internet with the same LAN cablevision with either port it seems to me the ethernet port hardware is OK. Gaming is another matter and probably just equally dependent on the game server as anything else.
Try ane of the bandwidth test sites like https://www.speakeasy.cyberspace/speedtest/ on each connexion.

I can't test the ane ethernet port because it doesnt connect to the cyberspace. Simply my 2 ane. ...
You take admission to the back of your computer don't yous? Remove the cable from ane it'due south installed in and put it in the other to test it.

Did yous install drivers it? Did you enable it in BIOS? it may be turned off by default.

Information technology could be your internet provider...it could be the line quality coming into your home...information technology could exist the router. There are a lot of things it could be before information technology fifty-fifty gets to your computer. Even if y'all have another computer (laptop for instance) you lot could connect the cable to and test information technology would be helpful.

Ok, so i think i got what it is. I updated a called Realtek PCIe 2.5gbE family controller.
I updated this and my 1 port works now.
